Rev. Andrew Elms was raised in Wichita Falls, TX as a pastor's kid, where his father pastored for 23 years. He attended Bible college at Texas Bible College in Houston, TX, where he graduated with high honors. During his time at Bible college, he met and courted Amanda Orange, who was raised in Deweyville, TX. Her parents pastored in Deweyville for over 30 years, and now fulfill the role of Bishop. Soon after his graduation from TBC, Rev. Elms and Mrs. Elms were married and assumed the position of youth pastor in Paris, TX. They served in that position for almost 4 years, before they moved to Wichita Falls to join the youth team at his home church, Life Tabernacle. They served as youth pastor and pastoral assistant for six and a half years. At that time, Rev. Elms was voted to serve as the pastor of Greater Apostolic Tabernacle in Balch Springs, TX.
